Beach
I’m sitting on the sand just watching everyone around me. Infront of me there is a mother with her daughter and she is soaking in the sun and the little girl is putting sand on her stomach. The father comes up with a bunch of toys for their child and the daughter is completely excited. He told her to just soak in the sun and he was gonna take the little one to build a sandcastle closer to the water.
Families aren’t dead. Love isn’t dead either. It’s still around. It’s not as visible as it was. I don’t think it was ever visible but it’s out there.
Things like that give me hope that even in this harsh, dead world, I still have things that make me want to keep moving forward.
